Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ9:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (609) 921-7422. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, princetonpizzastar.com.
Its Google rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 399 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Princeton is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Princeton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This place used to be amazing. Nino sold the place a few years ago and since the transition, this place continues to deteriorate. I used to go here weekly and since the change of ownership it became a once every few weeks. After my last experience, i'm done. Each time I go, the prices have gone up and the pies have gotten smaller. They've added a credit card surcharge as well. This last pie was the size of a medium, but sold as a large. The new owners are cutting corners and trying to squeeze every penny out of this. These new people are greedy beyond belief and are trying to find any way they can to save money and thus providing a substandard product and experience. Save your money, go somewhere else.

Great vibes, great Sicilian, great set up, beautiful decorations on the wall. What more can I say. So the Sicilian was perfectly soft, perfectly crunchy. Toasted to perfection. Thank you Pizza Star!

I often do catered lunches for physician offices. Figured I would try this place out. Pizzas were delivered inedible. Pictures speak for themselves. They also left off basil from 2 Margherita Pizzas. Claimed to run out of basil!? They tried blaming Uber Eats. They refused to remake for my scheduled lunch. So rude and dismissive. Never again!

Delicious Sicilian. The big, greasy slice of sweet sausage was good, too, but I wish I'd opted for a plain cheese to get a better sense of their style. Friendly staff. I overheard the cashier talking with another customer and apparently the place is under new management. With a Stewart's Root Beer plus a credit card fee, the total came to over $15. I went during lunch on 7/14/25 and it was only a little busy. #YouWannaPizzaMe?

I have ordered pizza here twice this week. Being new to Princeton, we needed to find a place that we loved to get pizza from. First off the owner is such a nice and personable man. He chats with customers and treats everyone like heβs known them for years. The staff there, are always polite and kind and I have never noticed anything but great service. The pizza is one of a kind. I ordered plain cheese, and the crust is so good so perfect. And the sauce is sheer perfection! I couldnβt imagine eating any other pizza around!
